However, while the player will never learn what the eight pages do as they are a tool to keep you moving in this version, the drive to collect them builds real tension. Slender remains basic, not trying to invent anything new. Unfortunately, Blair Witch is bug-ridden, unlike the other options. However, it keeps much of the simplicity. The pacing is better, but it has high demands on the computer system and costs money.īlair Witch follows a similar pattern of wandering around the woods, but it takes a completely different turn. It has a focused story while retaining the simplicity of the basic elements. AlternativesĪrrival is the second creation in the series, but it is the prequel to Slender. Also, once you download the game, you will have to unzip it to install now. New light sources and shadows were added for when you beat the game once to increase playability. The creators played around with the stamina to increase the difficulty of running away while still allowing you the possibility to escape the Slenderman. The new update added a few changes to make the game better, including improving the main menu while also adding music.
